  • Earth Day!
    • Create an Earth Day campaign
    • This must include advertising of some kind- a poster, pamphlet, flyer, video, etc to promote what people should be doing and why
    • AND information about what the issue is, what causes it, why it matters, what people can do, and why they should help- convince me!
  • Virtual Field Trip
    • Check out how one teacher is bringing fresh food to inner city middle school students in New York. Greens in the Bronx (TED Talk)

  • Complete a Quarantine Reflection Art Project
    • Watch my 8th Grade art video on Youtube (linked from classroom site, and on my Youtube channel) and create an art piece in any medium you like based on reflection of how this time is making you feel
    • OR offline option- if you don’t have access to the video, just take some time to be by yourself and away from family etc and reflect on your experiences in our recent situation. Allow yourself to have feelings about it and know that others are feeling some of the same things you are. Then express your experience in an art project of your choosing. Take your time- effort counts.
